The entire collection is now coming onto the market.

It is the lifetime's work of one of the most extraordinary designers and instrument makers of our time. Over five decades, Roland Hauke built up a collection that is unique. Hauke is now parting with 180 of his instruments and offering them for sale as The Hauke Collection. “They are works of art that you can not only touch, but that produce sounds that you don't get from conventional electric guitars," says Roland Hauke. "I want them to go into good hands from people who appreciate them and play with them regularly." It is unique in the history of instrument making that 180 masterpieces, all handmade and never built a second time, appear on the market out of nowhere at the same time. The sound pioneer has created instruments whose variety of sound cannot be compared with most of the commercially available electric guitars. They are works of art that give electrical guitars and basses a whole new sound. During the last five decades, Hauke has developed techniques that were previously almost unknown in guitar building. And he designed completely new instrument shapes that will set innovative standards in guitar making.

DESIGN AND SOUND.

"I never intended to build instruments to sell them," Roland Hauke says of his collection. "I built them primarily for myself, experimented with tones and was always searching for the perfect sound. I have given away a few electric guitars, sold a handful to friends but kept the majority of the instruments. This resulted in a collection of instruments that were all handmade by me with love."
